Ingredients

2 c. stewed dried apples, peaches or apricots
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/4 tsp. nutmeg or cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cook fruit until tender. Start with fruit covered with water. Add more, if needed.
Mash and add sugar, butter and spices. Cool.
