Saucy Italian Roast - cooking recipe

3 to 3 1/2 lb. boneless rump roast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 1/2 oz. jar mushroom pieces, drained
1 medium onion, diced
14 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1/4 to 1/2 c. beef broth
hot cooked pasta
Preparation

Cut roast in half. Combine salt, garlic powder and pepper. Rub over both halves of the roast. Place in slow cooker. Top with mushrooms and onions. Combine spaghetti sauce and broth. Pour over roast. Cover. Cook on low 8 to 9 hours. Slice roast. Serve in sauce over pasta.
