Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 c. lukewarm water
    1/8 to 1/4 c. shortening or butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Sift flour and salt together 2 or 3 times.
    Cream shortening or butter and the sugar.
    Then beat egg and mix in with shortening and sugar.
    When yeast is dissolved in water, add it to shortening mixture.
    Add flour a little at a time.
    Mix until flour is mixed in.
    Cover with a wet towel or lid until you are ready to press it out.
    Shape dough.
    Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
