Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cut meat across grain into 1/2-inch strips
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
    1 jar sliced mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In 1/4 cup margarine, cook onions until tender.
    Remove from skillet.
    Add the meat.
    Brown meat; add onions and mushrooms and 2/3 can of beef broth.
    Simmer until steak is tender (about 1 hour).
    Mix rest of broth with 2 1/2 tablespoons of flour.
    Blend into meat and onions and thicken.
    Just before you serve, add sour cream.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
