Rhubarb Strawberry Jello Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced rhubarb
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    2 boxes strawberry jello
    1/2 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook rhubarb in 1/2 cup of water.
    Add sugar; simmer over low heat until tender.
    Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients.
    Place in refrigerator until set.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
