Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. peanut oil
    2 c. broccoli
    1/4 c. sliced scallions
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. rotini or other twisted pasta
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Locatelli cheese
    1 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
Preparation
    Heat oil over medium-high heat.
    Add broccoli, scallions, garlic, basil and salt. Toss and stir-fry until broccoli is tender-crisp, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Toss with pasta, cheese and tomatoes in
    a large bowl. Refrigerate.
    Toss again before serving. Cheese tends to sink to bottom.
