Grandma'S Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 green pepper, cut in strips
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground chuck
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1 tsp. monosodium glutamate (optional)
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven, saute onion and pepper in butter for 3 minutes; add ground chuck and brown meat, breaking up meat with a spoon as it cooks.
    Add salt, monosodium glutamate (if you desire), pepper and sugar; stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
