Glazed Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, sliced
    1/4 c. raisins (golden or white)
    1/4 c. butter
    4 Tbsp. honey
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cook carrots in about 1/2-inch boiling water for about 6 minutes; drain.
    Place carrots into a 1-quart baking dish.
    Stir in raisins, butter, honey, lemon juice and ginger.
    Bake, uncovered, for 35 minutes.
    Spoon into serving bowl.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
