Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1 1/2 c. cooked whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder in bowl.
    Beat eggs with milk; add shortening and corn and combine.
    Mix lightly.
    Drop from teaspoon into fat heated to 365\u00b0.
    Fry until brown and cooked in center, 4 to 5 minutes; drain.
    Makes 8 fritters.
