English Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter (must be butter)
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients; cook until temperature reaches 290\u00b0, stirring constantly.
Cook until golden brown.
Pour onto cookie sheet; spread.
As it cools, use paper towels to soak up grease.
Melt the chocolate chips; spread over top.
Cool; break into pieces.
