Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. long grain rice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 qt. Heritage milk
    1/2 c. sugar (or more to taste)
Preparation
    Start cooking rice in water on top of stove, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
    When all water is absorbed and rice appears fluffy, begin adding milk.
    Pour into large baking dish and place in 350\u00b0 oven for 2 to 3 hours.
    Stir frequently to prevent crust-like topping.
    Add salt and sugar.
    Longer cooking time makes a better tasting pudding!
    Add vanilla towards the end of baking time.
    Extra milk can be added and stirred in throughout baking time.
