Ritzy Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    22 Ritz crackers (whole)
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    butter
Preparation
    Bring boiling water, white sugar and cream of tartar to a boil in a saucepan.
    Add crackers and cook 2 minutes.
    Do not stir. Pour in unbaked pie shell.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon; dot with butter.
    Put on top crust and bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0; reduce to 325\u00b0 and bake 20 minutes longer.
