Mom'S Busy Day Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. chuck roast
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
3 or 4 carrots, quartered
3 or 4 medium potatoes, quartered
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Place roast in foil.
Cover surface of meat with soup mix. Put vegetables on top.
Dot with butter, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Seal tightly and bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
