Ingredients

1 lb. carrots
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. orange juice or 1 medium orange
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cook carrots; drain.
In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger, nutmeg and orange juice.
Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
Stir in butter. Pour over hot carrots; stir to coat.
Serves 4 to 6.
