Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Beat eggs well.
Add remaining ingredients in order given.
Turn into unbaked pie shell and bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer.
When cool, cover with meringue if desired, or serve with sweetened whipped cream garnished with pecan halves. (Use no substitute for white syrup.)
