Berry Batter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. blue or blackberries
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water or juice
Preparation

Line a greased 8 x 8-inch pan with berries.
Beat the next 6 ingredients with mixer for 1 minute.
Pour over berries.
Combine 1/4 teaspoon salt, sugar and cornstarch and blend well.
Pour over batter evenly.
Pour water or juice over all.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Serve by spooning cake upside down and covering with berries.
Dollop with vanilla ice cream while still warm.
