Mississippi Lemon Chess Pie - cooking recipe

1 2/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. self-rising corn meal
4 whole eggs (unbeaten)
4 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. lemon rind, grated
4 Tbsp. whole milk
4 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour and corn meal by tossing lightly with a fork.
Add the eggs, lemon juice and rind. Add milk and melted butter.
Beat until smooth.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until top is golden brown and center is firm.
Delicious served warm.
