Pineapple Cheese Salad Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. cottage cheese
    1 c. whipped cream
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. grated pineapple, drained
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Rub cottage cheese through a sieve.
    Add salt.
    Soak gelatin in cold water and dissolve over hot water.
    Add cheese, mix well.
    Add mayonnaise, pineapple and cream.
    Chill in ring until firm.
    When ready, unmold and serve with a dressing of mayonnaise, plus a little lemon juice and a little whipped cream.
    Use fresh fruit in center of ring.
