Chicken Livers With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. onion, minced
    1 1/3 c. cooked rice
    1/2 lb. chicken livers, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    pinch of dried basil
Preparation
    Melt 1 tablespoon butter in pan; add onion and cook until tender.
    Add to rice and cook as package directs.
    Meanwhile, roll livers in seasoned flour.
    Saute in remaining butter until brown. Combine in 1 1/2-quart casserole with livers, rice, soup and rest of the ingredients.
    Bake until hot and bubbly, about 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Plain or yellow rice may be used.
    Cook first and then measure right amount and mix with other ingredients.
