Endless Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. cabbage (1 medium head), shredded
1/2 green bell pepper, shredded
1/2 red bell pepper, shredded
1 medium onion, chopped
1 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Combine cabbage, peppers and onion in a large bowl.
In a one quart saucepan, combine vinegar, oil, sugar, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil over moderate heat, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Boil 3 minutes.
Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture and toss well.
Stand at room temperature 30 to 60 minutes, tossing occasionally.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 days before serving.
