Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. fettuccine noodles
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    1 c. light cream or half and half
    3/4 grated Parmesan cheese
    1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Cook pasta as directed; drain.
    Meanwhile, cook and stir remaining ingredients, except parsley,
    in medium saucepan until hot.
    Pour sauce over hot pasta and toss to coat well.
    Serve with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
    Makes 6 servings.
