Grandma'S Syrup Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. syrup
    1/2 stick oleo
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/3 c. milk
    2 1/3 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix syrup, sugar and egg; add milk and flour.
    Melt oleo and shortening in baking pan (9 x 12-inch) and add this to batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
