Marinated Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 small red cabbage
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    1 small can black olives, diced or whole, sliced
    1 small can sliced water chestnuts
    dash of garlic (optional)
    1/4 c. olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small or medium purple onion (as desired)
Preparation
    Add mayo to desired consistency.
    May 24 hours ahead of time. Keep refrigerated.
