Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry or 2 cakes compressed yeast
    6 1/2 to 7 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 c. Wesson oil
Preparation
    Soften active dry yeast in warm water (110\u00b0) or compressed yeast in lukewarm water (85\u00b0).
    Add sugar, salt and about half the flour.
    Beat thoroughly 2 minutes.
    Add egg and oil.
    Gradually beat in remaining flour until smooth.
    Cover with a damp cloth and waxed paper.
