Cherry Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. butter
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix flour, butter, nuts and white sugar.
    Press in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cool, crumble and pat in pan.
