Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. water
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans tomato soup
    2 soup cans water
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. basil
    4 potatoes and carrots, peeled and cut up
Preparation
    Brown beef in Dutch oven.
    Add all ingredients to beef.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
