Chocolate Yeast Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. sweet milk
2 c. sugar
3 sq. melted chocolate
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda with 3 Tbsp. hot water
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening thoroughly.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add melted chocolate and yeast dissolved in warm water.
Add flour and milk slowly.
(You can put in icebox and finish next day.)
To finish, add vanilla and soda in 3 tablespoons hot water.
Mix well.
Bake in 9 x 12-inch loaf pan, approximately 35 minutes, at 350\u00b0.
