Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar at high speed until it forms soft mounds.
    Gradually add sugar, continuing to beat.
    Beat 3 more minutes or until it forms stiff peaks.
