Chocolate Chip Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. chopped dates
1 c. boiling water
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Add water to dates and let stand.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and cocoa.
Set aside.
