Peanut Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 1/4 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. peanut butter
    9 Tbsp. flour
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour in top of double boiler.
    Add milk slowly, mixing well.
    Cook over moderate heat until thickened.
    Add slightly beaten egg yolks; cook 3 minutes longer.
    Add peanut butter and vanilla; stir well.
    Let cool for 5 minutes.
    Pour into baked crust.
    Cover with meringue or whipped topping.
    Chill well before serving.
