Caramel Frosted Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. oleo
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar.
    Add egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in nuts, spread in greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cool slightly and spread with frosting.
