Ingredients

1 stick butter
3/4 c. buttermilk
5 eggs (large), beaten
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 (7 or 8 oz.) can or pkg. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 unbaked 8-inch pie shells
Preparation

Melt butter in buttermilk over low heat.
Stir in eggs, sugar, coconut and vanilla.
Stir all well.
