Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. diced potatoes
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 tsp. salt
    pepper as desired
    milk
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion in the water until tender.
    Drain off liquid and save.
    Mash potatoes.
    Measure liquid and add enough milk to make 3 cups.
    Slowly stir liquid into potatoes.
    Add margarine, salt and pepper as desired.
    Simmer a few minutes, then serve.
    Yields 6 servings.
