Caramel Fudge Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. condensed milk
3/4 c. melted butter
1 pkg. caramels
1 pkg. mini chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Mix cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup condensed milk.
Pour 2/3 batter into 11 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup condensed milk together.
Sprinkle chips over brownies.
Spread melted caramels over chips.
Spread the rest of the batter over the top.
Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
