Vera'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 squares baking chocolate
    1 c. milk plus 2 Tbsp.
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs beaten, melted chocolate, sifted flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
    Add vanilla and milk.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 in a square pan.
