Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
1 (9-inch) unbaked shell
nutmeg
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients together.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Dash top with nutmeg.
Bake at 475\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 20 minutes, until filling is set.
