Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. Karo syrup
    1 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 heaping qt. strawberries
    1 pie shell
Preparation
    Bake pie shell; set aside.
    Bring 1 1/4 cups of water to a boil.
    Add jello, sugar, cornstarch and Karo syrup.
    Stir until well blended.
    Remove from heat.
    Add in hulled, sliced strawberries.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Chill.
    Serve with whipped cream.
