Pennsylvania Dutch Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
    1 small onion
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1 lb. can green beans
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Fry bacon; reserve fat.
    Brown onion and water chestnuts in hot bacon fat.
    Drain green beans (save 1/2 cup liquid); mix with remaining ingredients and add to onion in skillet.
    Cook, stirring until boiling.
    Add green beans to rest of ingredients and heat.
    Garnish with crumbled bacon.
