Butter Baked Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth or 2 chicken bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. long grain rice
    dash of garlic powder
    parsley
    1/4 c. toasted, slivered almonds
Preparation
    Combine salt and 2 cups water.
    Boil and pour over rice.
    Let stand for 30 minutes.
    Rinse rice with cold water; drain well.
