Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/8 c. brown sugar
    1 1/8 c. granulated sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. soda, in 2 tsp. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine (3 sticks)
    5 c. flour
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt the butter in a saucepan.
    In a bowl, cream the brown and granulated sugars with the eggs.
    Add salt and baking powder.
    Mix soda with the boiling water; then add this to the mixture.
    Add milk, vanilla and melted butter.
    Now add flour a little at a time.
    The mixture will be very stiff (hand mixer will not handle it).
    After you are sure all flour is mixed well, stir in chocolate chips.
    Grease cookie sheet lightly.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
