Norwegian Pie(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 c. diced apples
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients and mix well.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Mix well.
    This will be stiff and will spread unevenly in two 8-inch pie pans.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve with Dream Whip.
    Put nutmeg in Dream Whip (instead of vanilla) for an unusual flavor.
