Cinnamon Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl. Combine egg, water, milk and melted butter.
    Add slowly to flour mixture.
    Knead for 5 minutes.
    Roll and cut into 1-inch slices. Place each slice into greased muffin pan.
    Allow to rise to double its size.
    Spread butter on each top and bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
