Oriental Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken, cut into bite size pieces
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/8 tsp. minced garlic or 1 clove
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Cook chicken in oil for 3 to 5 minutes.
    In a medium size bowl, combine rest of ingredients except pineapple.
    Add to chicken; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Add pineapple; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
