Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. salad oil
    3 c. diced, cooked ham
    1/2 lb. Polish sausage, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    2 large onions
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    2 c. celery, chopped with leaves
    1 large tomato, peeled and cut into wedges
    1 lb. lentils, washed
    3 qt. water
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
Preparation
    In a large kettle, heat oil; add ham, sausage, onions and garlic.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Add celery, tomato, lentils, water, Tabasco and salt.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 2 hours.
    Add spinach and cook for 10 minutes longer.
    Makes 4 quarts.
