Fried Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

yellow crook-necked squash or white scalloped squash
flour
salt and pepper
Preparation

Slice squash in 1/4-inch slices. Roll in mixture of flour and salt and pepper. Place in skillet with hot grease. Turn when brown. Take out when other side is brown. Salt to taste when frying. Place on paper towels to drain. May need to salt again before serving. Serve hot.
