Ingredients

1 pt. yellow vinegar
2/3 c. sugar
dash of salt
beets, washed, trimmed, boiled and peeled
Preparation

Place beets (either whole, sliced or quartered) in pint jars. Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil and pour over beets to cover. Seal and place in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
