Black Midnight Devil'S Food - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Combine cocoa and hot water.
Add to creamed shortening, sugar and eggs alternately with dry ingredients.
