Jumbo Chocolate Snappers - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. corn syrup
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
sugar

Preparation

Melt chocolate.
Cream shortening.
Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add chocolate, egg and corn syrup, beating well.
Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture, beating until blended.
