Debbie'S Barbecues - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion
1 sweet pepper
1 stalk celery
1 clove garlic
1 or 2 Tbsp. oil
1 qt. tomatoes
1/2 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 qt. meat (beef, pork or deer)
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 c. barbecue sauce (if desired)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except meat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add cooked meat.
Continue to simmer until thick. Seasoning can be adjusted to taste.
