Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh or frozen broccoli, chopped
    1/4 c. diced carrots
    1/4 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. Velveeta cheese
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
    5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. Season-All salt
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 1/2 qt. milk
    cornstarch/water mixed as for gravy
Preparation
    Cook broccoli until done; reserve about 3/4 cup of the liquid. Add 2 bouillon cubes to this liquid until dissolved.
    Saute onion and carrots in 3 tablespoons butter.
    Add to broccoli and liquid. Add milk, cheese, salts, pepper and 2 tablespoons butter.
    Cook until cheese is melted completely and liquid is very hot (but not boiling).
    Stir in cornstarch mixture.
    Stir until thickened.
